Project and Program Management – DIT

Project Overview

Marshfield is currently providing several Project Management resources to DIT on infrastructure projects across South Australia. These works include programs to construct overtaking lanes, shoulder widenings, intersection upgrades and rest areas in the south and east of the state along Sturt Highway, Princes Highway, Riddoch Highway, Wimmera Highway and around Mount Gambier. Our personnel are also leading the state-wide program to upgrade audio tactile line marking and installation of safety barriers.

Scope of Works

Marshfield’s scope to deliver project and program management consists of:

  • Design management
  • Leading stakeholder engagement and preparation of community notifications
  • Obtaining financial and other internal approvals
  • Undertaking and reviewing risk assessments
  • Establishing full project documentation; including tender documentation and obtaining quantity surveying services where required
  • Procurement of construction contractors and consultants as required, including tendering, tender evaluation, provision of RFI responses and contract formation
  • Review of management plans
  • Monitoring, managing and reporting against budgets
  • Overseeing contract and program delivery and preparation of status reports
  • Assisting with contract interpretation and claim assessment
  • Completing projects and closing out, including management of defects
  • Updating the client’s project data base
  • Handover of assets to asset owners, including maintenance plans
